        Mine doesn't (# N744xxxx).  The hotshoe only has contacts
        for x-sync and ready light.  If I switch my SB16 to TTL mode 
        on this camera the flash ready light on the camera blinks.

        I don't have any idea how old this camera is, or whether
        TTL may have been added to the FM2N later.
