I have tried several-seconds exposures with the F70, by using the
Shutter priority setting with success. This solution limits the exposures to
30 seconds.

For longer exposure, I have bought an MR-3 an use it with a standard
cable release instead of the MC-12B, so I can lock it in the open shutter
position for very long exposures. Although I have not tried it yet, the new
F/N60 user book says that if you use the "T" setting for long exposures,
with fresh batteries, up to 15-hours exposures are possible. Since the
shutter system of the F/N70 *might* be similar and the batteries are the
same, we could assume that the F/N70 is capable of several-hour
exposures with this set-up.

Please keep us all informed of your results!
