It takes some doing, but in the groove of the camera where the back sits 
into to make it light tight is a small pin. When the back is closed this 
pin is pressed in which lets the camera's counter start counting. You can 
easily press the pin in with a finger nail or similar device, fire and 
advance the camera until it reaches number one. At that point the 
different shutter speeds are now available. You may need three hands for 
this one. <ggg>
