Here's a fun project for all of you people who want to have a Nikon
Shift lens, but can't afford to buy them!

Buy a used Tamaron Adaptall Mount 24mm or 28mm lens (cost around 150
to 200 dollars US) and read the following web ariticle:
http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/bronshift.html

It basically goes throught the logic of what makes a lens a shift lens
and proposes some very econonomical ways of using old screw mount
lenses or Tamaron Adaptall lenses for shift applications.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has made a tilt shift lens for
his/her Nikon camera and if so what lens they used. The biggest
problem would probably be finding a good lens that had enough covering
power to fill the 35mm frame when shifted 7 or 8 mm.

Good luck if you try it and let the list know if you're successful.

Peace Rolland
