Hi Paul, Thanks for your example; it's a great example of where "balance" has meaning. But, in such a scene, what do you meter? With matrix metering, the sky inside the barn door frame will most likely cause the shutter speed to be faster than the X-sync, so can you safely use flash for balancing?
