I would say that the 300mm F4 would be a perfect choice. It's inexpensive, sharp as a tack and since your going to shoot wildlife you will love the tripod collar. I am not a wildlife shooter. However, you never know when you are going to be hand holding your camera so I would suggest a film that would give you at least a 1/300 second shutter speed. Sam.
