Hi all, NIKON PN-11. I have in the last week purchased new a Nikon PN-11. To go against the trend of other posts, mine came WITH solid black plastic caps. They don't have the word Nikon on them - just an "N". (Purchased here in New Zealand) SIGMA 18-35. I have one of these lenses (well I should say my wife now has one cos I have also just purchased a Nikon 20-35). Overall I found the Sigma to be an excellent lens considering it's cost. It is very light. The coatings on the lens elements seemed to improve the contrast - some images looked as though a polariser had been used successfully even though one hadn't. I never once had a problem with flare but I was careful and went out of my way to avoid it. A lense hood came standard with it. The cost was a major factor in my reason for purchasing the Sigma (NZ$899) - saved up for the Nikon (NZ$2900) - Big difference. Just my pennies worth. Mike Harper...8-)
