What circular polarizer do you use with the 20-35 mm f 2.8 zoom?

Thsi is a 77 mm filter, and vignetting is an issue. The Nikon 77 mm
polarizer addresses this by having the step-up feature, but Nikon does
not make a lens hood for the 20-35 mm. The HN-29 hood prescribed for
this polarizer is for the 80-200 mm f 2.8 zoom, not the 20-35, and would
probably cause vignetting if it were used with the 20-35 mm.

Does anyone have any experience with circular polarizers by Tiffen or
Hoya that address the vignetting problem by being super thin? They would
fit inside the lens hood that Nikon makes for the 20-35. Which specific
models of these filters work with this lens?

Thanks for the info!
