It is common knowledge that the new 80-200AFS is made by Canon.
However, the crafty swines disabled the zoom ring at 80mm and 200mm,
whereas if you buy the Canon version it will zoom to 70mm and 210mm. I
recommend buying the Canon badged version and fitting a Nikon mount,
following the helpful instructions provided for this operation in a
previous digest (being careful not to scratch the paint as the Canon
white paint underneath will show through). This will get you the full
function version of the lens.
Get a grip on reality.
