The MF-26 has an AF/AE lock option that combines both functions. The
Photosecretary also has this.
But MF-26 settings override Photosecretary AF/AE lock functions.

The N90s rewind is really noisy.

Thanks.
Try the Kirk ballheads or their modified versions of other brands.

The SB-25,26,27,&28 all offer 3-D Matrix balanced fill flash provided
you use a D-type lens. The SB-24 doesn't.

Re: metering system guidance [v04.n226/16]
Message: 16
The three metering modes of the N90s/F90X gives you the choice or
control in determining what you may consider as correct exposure.
Spot- Metering is completely biased towards the center small circle of
the viewfinder. You can then measure highlights, shadows, and middle
tones.
Center-weighted- Metering gives a 75% concentration on the 12mm circle
in the viewfinder. This gives goodexposure if you can fill the circle
with your subject.
Matrix metering- With matrixmetering it takes all 8segments into
consideration. If the camera senses recomposition, it should bias
towards the sides, if it senses the subject is right in the center, it
should bias towards the center. When shooting with horizontals, take
care of the horizontal line and the separation between the segments in
the metering.
Hope this helps.
