Hi Erik

This subject has been bantered around in the past, so you may want to
check the archives for more information. The general concensus is that
you will get vignetting even with some of the slim line filters. I have
the 20mm/2.8 AF lens and what I originally did, was use a 62=>72mm step
up ring and then used my 72mm polarizer that I use with my Nikkor
180mm/2.8 lens. Beleive it or not you could use this combination with
the lens hood and not get any vignetting, not to mention you could still
get at the filter to rotate it. In the end though I bit the bullet and
splurged on a Nikon oversized polarizer, so that my 62mm polarizer stays
on my Nikkor 85/1.8 and my 72m polarizer stays on my Nikkor 180mm/2.8
lens. Email me if you have any further questions.
