Hi Juanma,
I don't know if this answers your question but I suggest you get the FM2n.
It's fully manual (except for its meter of course) and its a current model.
The problem with the two camera's (EM, F2) you've mentioned is this:
EM: You have to use E lenses to go with this. I'm not sure but I don't
think the current and more regular lenses will work on this camera.
F2: While it is a classic, it is as you say, old and heavy. Though, I
believe the current lenses work on this camera.
There, the FM2n, btw, can be bought brand new for around 500 USD (last time
I checked). Everyone, if you see any error in my info, feel free to jump in
and correct me. Thanks. I hope I helped, Juanma. Happy shooting!

I just have this great dilemma. I own an F70 and I'm looking for
"manual" backup body. Here in Venezuela, where I live, there're not
many options to choose, so my options are a more or less worn out F2
and a brand new EM (yes, believe or not, this is new, not second
hand).
So what do you think?. I know
that the EM is a rather simple camera, with no manual option, but may
be the 1134g of the F2 are too much to carry around (and may be is
also a too old model).
Please help.
Juanma
