Brett, I can't help much, but I don't think the F3AF can AF with AF-S lenses. The F5 can drive AF-S ones, but not the old F3-AF ones. On the other hand, the F4 can AF with F3-Af, AF, AF-I and AF-S lenses!. Good luck in finding the lenses. They are very quiet if not fast and are the smoothest and nicest AF lenses I have ever handled. Nicolas.
