When shooting 35mm and intending to make large prints, every little thing
you can do to get better quality helps.  When I first started in photography,
I rarely used a tripod because of the inconvenience and because I never
made a large print.  I have made many large prints in the past three years,
including a few of my old slides.  I really wish I had taken more care in
getting maximum sharpness when I took those old slides.
