I use a Slik tripod that has the capability to move the tripod head to the
bottom of the rack which moves the head vertically.  Use a small level to
make sure that the camera film plane is parallel to the photo being copied.
  You might want toturn your lens around or get micro lens, otherwise
getting the edge and the center of the photo in focus may be difficult.

If possible I would prefer to do cropping in the darkroom.
