You set the auto-bracketing feature by pressing the shift button and holding
it down, at the same time press the BKT button. This causes the +/- symbol
to flash in the LCD panel. Now while depressing the BKT button you turn the
command dial to set the number of exposures you want to use, next release
the BKT button, then you turn the command dial to set the degree of
compensation required. The film counter shows the number of exposures in the
series and will count down the number of exposures set until the entire
sequence is complete. The sequence will start with the underexposure(s),
then normal, and then overexposure(s). To cancel just press both BKT and
shift buttons simultaneously. This will work with flash photography as well,
provided you use a Nikon dedicated flash. I highly recommend the Magic
Lantern Guide to the N6006/N8008s cameras. It was the best $20 I've spent
on photography. Hope this helps.
