To follow-up on my earlier response, alkaline are cheaper. Using Nikon's published "rolls per set of batteries" rating, my F100 will cost (for batteries) $.04/roll for alkaline, $.07/roll for lithium, and $.12/roll for CR123 at normal temperature. At 14 F, the cost becomes $.75/roll for alkaline, $.20/roll for lithium, and $.17/roll for CR123. Prices are based on my local (Tampa) prices for batteries but the CR123 are cheapest from B&H. As I don't face cold weather here in Florida, I plan on staying with the alkaline. My cost for the lithium AA have been about $4.75 per pair at Home Depot, almost the same price at B&H. nikon-digest wrote: >Date: Mon, 5 Apr 1999 13:08:42 -0400 >From: "Eric Edelman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: Lithium AA's [v04.n338/4] >Message: 4 > >I went through this a couple weeks ago.
