Dear list members,

I would like to leverage your expertise to help
me to make a jump to flash photography. The camera
I'm using is the FM2n, which provides no TTL flash
metering. I am mostly interested in using flash as a
fill, and maybe sometimes as the only light source.
With this in mind, I have three questions to the list:

    1. How do you use non-TTL flash as a fill?
    2. As the only light source?
    3. Which flash would be most suitable for the FM2n?
I realize that something like SB28 can do the job,
but isn't it a bit of overkill?

Most of my photography is cityscapes, travel, and people.
About 3/4 of all my pictures are taken by two prime lenses:
105/2.5 AI and 28/2.8 AIS. The rest is taken with the 75-150/3.5
zoom lens, with occasional use of the 50/1.8 AFD and the
28-70/2.8 Tokina.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
