The cinematographer did not use Canon lenses for the film. The color was desaturated via computers after the shooting, during the editing stage. You can also see that the lens had very bad flare control in some parts of the film, reason being that the cinematographer requested that the lens manufacturer remove the multicoating so that he could use the flare creatively. best, wes
