I had bad luck at PHILADELPHIA airport when going to Bosnia in August 1997. The gal cleared my 14 lenses to include a hige 300/2.8AFS, but she wanted to X-ray the F5 that had film in it. Yea I know not to put film in but I did. Anyway she hassled me saying that the camera was too heavy to be normal, so she would keep the plane on the ground until I surrendered. I got her name, that made her REALLY mad and she got my name (I was in US Army uniform, an obvious terror organization on Philly) and the camera got x-rayed. Since I got her name and found the address to the Philly airport security office, I make sure she gets F5 brochures on a regular basis, right from Nikon, so she knows the exact weight of it!
