At the moment, I'm afraid I'm only using NWEx for converting incoming
Whirred documents, since there's always someone who doesn't know how to
main plain text conversions. It usually works very well, even with
Japanese documents (except for the "wavy-dash" character, which it
refuses to touch).
But this time, I tried to use Save As and got the message "Couldn't save
document". No further clues as to why NWEx couldn't save it, nor what I
could do to persuade it to do so....
This is work. I need to extract this text, but I don't want to go to the
client and ask him to learn how to create plain-text files.
Did you try changing the destination? I know it's not supposed to make
any difference, but...
