Mutton (boneless)
200gms
Refined oil
8gms
Garlic
25gms
Red chilly powder
1gm
Curry leaf
1gm
Onion
150gms
Coriander powder
1gm
Cumin seed powder
1gm
Tamarind powder
1 gm
Garam masala (whole)
1 gm
Broken cashew nuts
50 gms
Coconut powder
50 gms
Black pepper powder
1 gm.
Salt
5 gms
Method
1) Heat oil, add aniseed, garlic and whole red chilly, small onions, curry
leaves and stir for 5 – 10 seconds..
2) Add well-chopped onion and sauté till it turns golden brown.
3) Add cumin seeds, coriander, turmeric, red chilly powder, South Indian
garam masala and mix well.
4) Add chopped tomatoes, white paste (coconut+cashewnut).
5) Boil boneless mutton cubes and add to the well cooked paste.
6) Add the tamarind pulp and salt.
7) Serve hot.
