I gave this recipe a try and was pleasantly surprised.

Ingredients:
- Baby okra - 1 frozen bag
- Yogurt - 1 cup (I used nonfat plain yogurt)
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Dried red chillies - 2
- Green chillies - 3
- Besan - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste

*Method:*
- Heat oil.  Add cumin seeds and dry red chillies. Fry for about 1 minute.
- Cut green chillies length-wise.  Add to the oil, along with turmeric
powder, coriander powder, and besan.  Mix well over medium heat.
- Microwave the frozen okra for about 30 seconds to 1 minute to thaw a
little.  Add the okra to the vessel. Mix well.
- Add salt and cover over medium heat.
- Dice ginger into very small pieces. Add to the mix with the black pepper.
- Reduce the heat.  Add the yogurt. Mix well.
- Cover and let simmer for about 10 minutes or until the okra is cooked.
- Serve with rice or chapatis.
