If you liked Ubuntu at all, you shouldn't have troubles with Debian. To make Debian even more like Ubuntu, run the testing version. It updates fairly often, and has a ton of new software always pouring in. Debian has a keyring functionality, don't remember how I ended up getting it, but it is there. Since Debian has it, I am sure all the others do as well. The keyring lets you auth to it, and it will supply the passwords for the admin account for you. The keyring password can also be different than your login password, so it helps further secure your admin privs. -- Steven Critchfield [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
