One thing that attracted me to look at Zabbix is that there is a nagios plugin "wrapper" that is supposed to let you integrate nagios plugins into the Zabbix framework. So that was a big +1 to me for Zabbix because of the plethora of nagios plugins. I think many Zabbix adopters in the Zabbix community were once "bent" on Nagios too. :)

In this case I _am_ bent on Nagios. (that I am bent is well documented) The challenge here is that always before I came in the middle after the initial install had the kinks worked out.
