Alternatively, is it possible to set static IPs on the printers?

Sigh,

I seek this small footprint, no moving parts linux box to be the 24x7 linux box at each remote location.

We _HAVE_ set static IPs on these printers and they loose their ever ~!@#$%^ minds every so often and go looking for a dynamic address. This is why I want DHCP with reserved IPs set by MAC.
