Hi guys, and hopefully a gal or two, maybe more, I will be putting on a Ham (Amateur Radio) class in the next few weeks. For those that have their Tech or General, this will give you some way to upgrade to your Extra. If you don't pass, you will be able to blame the instructor! The first session (mostly orientation) will be tonight (Sunday Evening at 7:00 PM).
There is some bad news here however. 1. I am really bad at math. 2. I have not a clue how many will show up. 3. You will have to pay for your own food (less than $10.00 each) 4. I don't get a dime out of that. 5. Chances of me being organized are very slim. The place: New East Buffet 5179 Murfreesboro Road, Lavergne, TN 37086 If you have problems finding it, chances are I will have the cell phone on me. I expect to be there at 7:00 PM. If you want their number it is 615 793 1998. Don't hesitate to give me a ring if there is some reason you can't make it. You will probably hear some surprises and maybe a few secrets. If they ask why there are 3 people that showed up, or 50 the standard answer is #1 above. I will need help on some of this computer related stuff, so you have been warned. As a matter of fact, I will likely generally need help in a lot of ways. For anyone that only has the Technician, this will help to get you out of that rut. We will be teaching everything from no license to Extra courses. More details will be revealed tonight.
