Hello friends,

I want to say thank you to Paul Boniol who turned me on to this list. I am a blind IT enthusiast with some technical credentials but none that really pertain to what I'm writing about today. That is to say, programming isn't my thing :)

I have been very much interested in stocks and crypto for a while now and found there isn't really a 100% accessible charting solution......that is until I came across the Highcharts javascript charting library. I notice they made a big deal about how they had excellent accessibility and they provide multiple js modules for accessibility. I downloaded the free charting package and opened the basic line chart after importing the required js modules and I have to say, yes, they really do and I'm sort of shocked no one has made a fully accessible trading solution already. This is what I am writing about.

I'm happy to discuss the details about API's, how much this will cost and so on if there is anyone who may be interested. Highcharts has great documentation for their API including all about the accessibility options they support. The end result should be a single html web page with the bulk written in javascript. High contrast themes and all accessibility options are already provided so there likely wouldn't be much needed and I can even start someone off with a very simplistic html page so you can get a feel for what I'm looking for. They also have loads of demos on their site and you could probably use one as reference. The reason I chose Highcharts is primarily for the accessibility, but the Highstocks package comes with all kinds of technical indicators and they claim it would be quite easy to code your own as well. There are a few I'd want that are not included, but this could be discussed far down the line.

I have gotten burned on Fiver and almost on Freelance so this is sort of my last option. Highcharts support isn't really supposed to help folks with development so they told me to contact a company called Blacklabel. Blacklabel replied and told me they only work with companies, not individuals. I only plan to use this for myself. I don't think this would be too difficult for someone who is skilled in javascript, a bit of html and maybe some css as well.

Sorry for being off topic and thank you for any consideration.

Cody
