Okay, it sounds like the BSD License is the only one everyone can easily
settle on, so I went ahead and changed the COPYRIGHT notice to that.
I did have to make a couple of tweaks to the BSD template as appears at:
http://www.opensource.org/licenses/bsd-license.html
though. It requires a clear definition of "the organization", which we
don't really have for nmh. I also didn't think the distinction between "the
copyright holders" and "contributors" made any sense -- this implies that
people who contribute patches are giving up their copyright, which isn't the
case.
I therefore used the pretty unambiguous phrase "the authors of nmh". This
is what's checked in right now -- if you have any suggested changes, please
