Whoo! Talk about a blast from the past (and I am STILL salty about Jerry
Peek basically killing the momentum for a MH fork way back when; admittedly,
it finally happened, but we lost a chance for some good work). Moving on ...

Man, I forgot about that. I don't think that ever happened?

I wonder how well that support has been maintained, because it's kind of
a fringe case (and my memory of the discussions around the UW IMAP project
was the MH folder support never worked all that well).

First off, I don't want to discourge anyone from doing anything that
they want to work on and release; if you have an idea, go for it!
However, I want to point out that I think having a IMAP server that can
access MH folders is probably not useful for the majority of people,
becase you'd need to run your own IMAP server. Now, admittedly, the average
nmh user today MIGHT be the kind of person who would be willing to run
their own IMAP server; I just don't think it will help the average
email user, who very probably has access to an IMAP server but lacks
the energy/ability to run their own server.

But again, if someone wants to write/improve such code, please do so!
