Dear Group, I have Cp defined in the $DES block which drives the PK. If I ask for Cp in $Table I get the warning. However if under $ERROR I create a new variable PKS=A(2)/Vp and ask for PKS in $TABLE the warning goes away. I got this "cleaner" way of making sure that the right concentrations are driving the PD from one of Dr. Holford's posting: http://www.cognigencorp.com/nonmem/nm/99oct022001.html <http://www.cognigencorp.com/nonmem/nm/99oct022001.html> Just curious, why does NONMEM have trouble tabulating a variable that was defined under $DES? Thanks...MNS

What does this warning mean and does it have any implications even if I get successful minimization. (WARNING 48) DES-DEFINED ITEMS ARE COMPUTED ONLY WHEN EVENT TIME INCREASES. E.G., DISPLAYED VALUES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FIRST EVENT RECORD OF AN INDIVIDUAL RECORD ARE COMPUTED WITH (WITH LAST ADVANCE TO) AN EVENT TIME OF THE PRIOR INDIVIDUAL RECORD. Kindly advice...MNS
