Dear All, I used the g95 compiler linked by Kun Wang and followed the advise of Stephen Dufful for disabling the Win7 message. This worked like a charm! Thank you all for this. Also, thanks Markus for suggesting intel fortran. I'm sure it will work but I just wanted to start with trying a free option first.

The key to getting it to install is to disable the message that Win7 (and I believe Vista) prompts to warn you that it is making changes to the hard drive. If you don’t disable this you won’t be able to install NM (at least I can’t do it). There was a thread about this recently which gave details on how to disable this feature of Win7. Any help would be appreciated.. I have Win-7 home premium 64-bit, unfortunately, MS does not provide an XP mode for this type of windows. Particurly, I would like to know which fortran compiler has been tested for NONMEM under Win-7? Thanks, Jun
