Hmm it's odd I can install node-gyp locally just fine with *npm install 
node-gyp* without the python issue. It's just when node-gyp is is a 
dependency I get the python issue.

Well regardless, do you recommend I change my python path to 2.7 or is it 
possible to use the --python switch as it says in the error? I cannot seem 
to find any information about this --python switch anywhere.
