MongoDB similar to traditional RDBMS in terms that it's also an universal database applicable to lots of use cases.
CouchDB has some unique features, but, it's a specialised database, it may be a good fit for some special use cases, but it's not universal DB, and it's not a good fit for general web app. LevelDB - also specialised and high performant low-level DB, not for general usage.
