A possible workaround might be to split the choruses onto a separate channel and set the fader lower (but you've probably thought of that). I haven't tried fine gain control automation in Non yet. I often make very small gain changes with Ardour's gain line, but from what you say this might not be so easy in Non. Sounds like a job for an amplifier plugin with a scaled down response to control signals. John
