Non Mixer's LADSPA support is indeed intended to be 'complete' and not
crippled in any way. How to completely support LADSPA however, is open
to a lot of interpretation. Control output ports being displayed as
meters is one of those interpretations. It's a bit of a hack, and one
that I haven't (yet?) imitated. It's by no means part of the LADSPA
spec or required functionality, and honestly I just haven't missed it
enough to bother implementing it.
