One question to OP, as I'll give this a try as explained below; did you use the Non in Arch AUR that downloads the latest snapshot from Git and compile it, or the other one in AUR that's compiled usually behind pkg?
I'll be trying the download from Git as that's the one you want with Non. I've got Arch on one of my SD cards for the PI. I'm moving on from Raspbian/Arch, but I can try and load non on it. There was something odd about non on Arch that I can't remember what it was when I loaded it on the PC, but I'll load Non on Arch and send notes as I did for the Raspbian before we leave those distros, as the two cards are just sitting here(the PI B+ uses the micro cards, so I haven't written over the old SD cards yet we tried for version B).
