I hope this helps: I don't know where I got the command line program "jack_transport" by Jeremy Hall, maybe it is included in Jack itself.
With this program I have made four "global" hotkeys through my Window Manager. They are, in this order: play, jump to start, pause/resume, stop bash -c 'echo play | jack_transport' bash -c 'echo locate 0 | jack_transport' bash -c 'echo toggle | jack_transport' bash -c 'echo stop | jack_transport' Greetings, Nils On 04/23/2018 10:15 PM, J.
