I would double-check your /etc/hosts file and other DNS config. I suspect
that 'localhost' is either resolving to the old address or not resolving at
all. In order for liblo (OSC) to function localhost must result to either
the loopback address (127.0.0.1) or the correct IP address.

If you're talking about a multi-machine setup, that could present an an
entirely different set of problems.
