Kolhapur: Action has been taken against 24 students of Agriculture
college here for their alleged involvement in a ragging case, sources
in the college said.

Principal of the college Ashok Pharande inquired into the incident of
ragging reported on December 22 in college hostel and found 24 inmates
guilty, they said.

Five students have been suspended for two semesters, ten for one
semester, seven have been suspended from hostel for one year, two
students suspended for one semester have also been fined Rs 200 while
five students were suspended for semester and fined Rs 500, principal
said.
