Add an hex mode view and edit hex would be nice.

Yes, it's very similar and that's great but the file structure is the primary
difference. It uses the same structure as Windows Explorer, allowing users to
choose the "My Documents" directory from the root instead of forcing them to
drill down into C:\Documents and Settings\[owner]\My Documents. Much easier
and faster. Plus, as an added bonus, it uses all icons from the system if
they've
been changed. (This relates to my earlier comment about how I changed my folder
icons to something else.)

Thanks for outlining the things you plan to change in Explorer. Looks like a
great list. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to do those. This program
and plugin are getting better and better every day!

hi guys;

OS: Win XP Prof SP2
Notepad++: v4.0
The case:
I have a file called "mysterious field.sql" on my desktop. Notepad++ crashes
everytime I want to open it. No matter if I double-click the file (associated
with the program) or open it from Notepad++. This is the standard XP crash
window
with an error signature and mem dump.
The funny thing is that there's nothing special about this file. Even if I make
a copy of the file and put it also on the desktop, I can open w/o any problems.
The file isn't locked or used by any other program either.

???

The search dialog should contain a standard X button in the right top corner
for closing the search dialog. I know that there is an explicit close button,
but a standard close button is the X button.

Maybe i'm stupid but

a.) should that plugin show me all available functions for that language?
or
b.) all funktions that are in the current file(s)
or
c.) something else

For me it don't works either because:

a.) It dont shows functions at all if it's open and a language is set.
and
b.) if I open a file that contains functions it dont shows them too (lang set
to php)
________ file i tryed with _____________
<?php
function test1
{
echo 'something';
}
function test2  {
return 'nothing';
}

echo 'I want to use that Plugin that should do'.test1().' but does '.test2().'
and that is bad';
?>
_________ file end ______________________
and
c.) what else could it do?

Any Ideas?

Hi hp38guser,

Why do you not modify the code at home and send your modificated files to Don?
When it is a good implementation, I be sure he merge it with Notepad. I did
this with new docking manager in Notepad.

Best Regards
Jens

In this case, it may be due to the total length of full file path - what's the
length of full file path of this file?

Don

The Asp definitions in XML files (langs, stylers) are equals to 3.9... I seems
that we users can't do nothing to fix.
