To have a quick (and dirty) fix on the font issue, you can do the following:
- quit Notepad++ (if still running);
- backup (make a copy) of your existing explorer.dll;
- download Resource Hacker from http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/;
- extract the reshack.zip and launch ResHacker.exe;
- from Resource Hacker, open the explorer.dll;
- open (click on the [+] symbol) the Dialog node and followed by the 30500 node
and click on 1031. You then can see some text appear on the right-pane;
- on the line "FONT 8, ...", change the font name to the one that you want to
use and then click on the Compile Script button;
- do the same for 30600, 30610 and 30650 nodes;
- save the changes by clicking on File -> Save;
- launch your Notepad++.
Can't guarantee it will work for you, but it does for me.

I am trying to change my project of release mode for Debug mode in the Studio
Studio but I have not had success. I modified the configuration in
"Configuration
Manager" for Debug but now it does not find a DLL and says that SCINTILLA.INIT
failed.

It's odd to see the included language-styles can color whole lines of text (as
in, not just highlight it), but this feature isn't available in the user defined
language.
I could really, really, really... use this feature, and I'm -guessing- it
shouldn't
be -too- hard to implement, i could be wrong.
Keep up the good work, real smooth app, some glitches here and there,
imperfections,
but hey, nobody's perfect and i enjoy using it :P
I also like the chameleon on the website, it's my buddy. *feeds it*

You're wrong, custom templates allows you to accelerate developpement !
Example : you can insert automatically in a new HTML file some code of your
interest, and you don't ever have to recode or repaste it all the time.
Yes, add this feature !

I think this feature is called Snippet too,
So yes, i would like this feature too !
And it will be better if this feature is customizable.
Example in HTML :

And navigate with TAB in the places.

It works for me as well. Moreover, it turns out that Notepad++ also has a few
dialogs with the wrong font; I've changed them all to MS Shell Dlg, which
apparently
sets the font defined by the system settings.
I couldn't find the Shortcut Mapper in the dialog resources, however.

Hello Don,
thanks for the nice editor. But if you deinstall the version 4, the nppcm.dll
remains in memory. You can delete it only if you start Win again. You should
kill the process after closing the program. Also I miss file-extensions
in explorer.

First of all, sorry for my english.

I'm trying to open a file with a large filename (up to 63 chars) and the program
crash. Down to 63 chars the program open the files without problems, but when
try the other option... oups.

On editing a file it sometimes happen, that suddenly the characters are messed
up.
For example you want to type A to Z but for every char you put, theres a special
char inserted
??????????????????????????
thats what i get then... found to way to resolve this issue without an
application
restart... :-/
