It would be super rad if you could export a document from notepad++ to an
html/xml
file that preserved syntax highlighting. Are there any plugins that already
do this?

While opening a .txt file with Notepad ++, system is trying to access to cdrom
reader and a system message window appears to insert a CD.

Why does notepad++ does not choose .txt as a default file type?
This is the only thing keeping me from using it.

Please add an option to choose your own default filetype.

I agree, if it could give a default file extension based on what language you
were using, it would be better. Doesn't keep me from using it though!

Convert &entities seems to conflict with autoclose <tag>. I think it's because
of the greater than sign (>) at the end of the tag. Please try to correct,
thanks.

I know NPP has a huge collection of built-in programming languages, but I was
thinking that it might be useful to have some sort of "language plugin" like
a file you just copy into a directory that works like the user defined language,
but you could have lots of them. Perhaps you could include something to export
your user-defined languages in this format as well? That would also make giving
others your defined languages much easier.

tell me if you think it sounds good.

Try to add this code, this should solve the problem:

GROUP "Polish"

TABLE "Default" // original latin alphabet
{
B9 9F 9C B3
A5 8F 8C A3
}

TABLE "ISO-8859-2" // latin alphabet in a reverse order
{
B1 BC B6 B3
A1 AC A6 A3
}
