Due to the focus problem of Notepad, which was caused by the latest explorer
version, explorer plugin was removed from the install routine. Please be
patient.
New version comes asap.
Best Regards
Jens

It would be nice if I could set the auto-indent settings separately for each
language. In fact, it would be nice if I could adjust a lot of the settings
on a per-language basis. The ideal situation would be if there were a default
setting and then if for each language there were a tri-valued selector - inherit
default, on, or off.

Personally I don't have a strong preference between the two, but I note that
Ctrl+F4 also has a claim to "official" status: It's documented in the Windows
XP help file under the topic "Windows keyboard shortcuts overview".

> Is there any other way to get the date printed out using a macro?
As far as I know, the way you used is the only automatic and self-contained
way (within NP++). But as you've found, the macro feature frustrates the date
feature. I was clarifying what the actual problem is, as I expect to look into
it within the next few days.
Regards.

"How to replace tab from a line to linebreak?"
Use advanced find/replace (control+R) with regex turned off. Replace control+I
with control+M. There might be other ways, but that works for me.

Horisontal scrolling bug

There is a horisontal scrolling bug on Notepad that i discovered in version
3.9 (and still in 4.0.2). When lines are long horisontally, the scrollbar
doesn't
scroll to the end of the line, one has to manually click the right scroll arrow
to get to the end. I've also encountered that the horsontal scrollbar sometimes
thinks that the line is very long and appears to scroll endlessly to the right,
but actually the line isn't that long anyway. It makes the scrolling difficult
to scroll to the end of the line.
If someone is able to fix this but, i would be very thankful...

First of all sorry for all possible language error, english isn't my language
;)
I make large use of ctrl+space feature to auto complete commands in php
What is VERY strange is that the ctr+space don't work if you type
"str_"
or
"strr"
pratically all words between this two string aren't usable with ctrl+space
All this words are affected
str_pad
str_repeat
str_replace
str_rot13
strcasecmp
strchr
strcmp
strcoll
strcspn
strftime
strip_tags
stripcslashes
stripslashes
stristr
strlen
strnatcasecmp
strnatcmp
strncasecmp
strncmp
strpos
strrchr
strrev
strrpos
It works if you type "str" (positioning on str_pad, the first of the list) or
strs (positioning on strspn, the first word after the list)
Anyone know why and how to fix it?

Brilliant, thanks! In fact, I found another post of
yours on the same subject from about a week ago that I missed.
By the way, I use "::" rather than "REM" because it's much
more efficient.

I was thinking it would be great if there were a plugin,
that enabled a dockable console window, similar to say
that of the GridinSoft Notepad.
It would look much like the function list, except instead
of functions on display it would be an interactive console.
And perhaps (I should like to see it like this) there could
be a set of Console commands just like the "Run" capabilities,
so one could assign hotkeys to the console. Eg. to run "make" and have the
result
display in the console.
Hope you like the idea as much as I do
Greetings
/wrigley

Hi, are there plans for cmake language parsing and syntax highlighting. I've
put some keywords to UD language, but as cmake is used more and more(look at
Kate support, etc.), maybe it would be great to include cmake syntax also...
regards,
fantaz

I know that ctrl-space trigger auto-completion.
But, in my PC, ctrl-space is already used to toggle input method(between english
and
traditional chinese).
Is there any way to work around?
