Is there a way to disable the feature that automatically adds an additional
double quote if you type one, a closing brace, curly brace or paranthese if
you type an opening one? I find this feature quite annoying, because after
aquiring
a quite high typing speed after years of training, I know have to think twice
each time I type one of these symbols. If possible, please consider removing
this feature from future versions, or at least have it disabled by default.

Notepad++ doesn't use the file type for the extention at all, AFAIK. If you
want to save the file as "myfile.sql" you should enter "myfile.sql", not
"myfile"
and hope the program adds the extention.
Even if you set it to *.txt and save the file, it doesn's add the extention
".txt". The file type on this page is just usable to filter what's in the
directory
you're looking at. If you go to save a file and just enter "myfile", Notepad++
saves it as "myfile", not "myfile.txt".
If you want to see all .sql files, you can enter *.sql" in the filename box,
and it will filter the current directory.

Anyone have any insight on this? I am having the same problem. I opened the
file in Windows Notepad and there are no extra line breaks, so it seems that
Notepad++ is interpreting something as an extra break..

Hi,
Your plugin is a verry good idea and is very interresting, nevertheless I try
it on vhdl source file, and there are lots of keyword that are not properly
highligh in exported file (even if thay are in vhdl.lang file). If you need
some vhdl code language go to http://www.google.com/codesearch and check what
I said.
It is shade that it is not easier to find your plugin.

releases and test versions will be published there. You are invited to test
the new plugin versions. Publish your suggestions and bug reports in future
on this side.

May sound heretical! but I run N'pad ++ with NoteMagic with files transfer and
then use the NoteMagic Spell-Checker, it's very simple really. But I do look
forward to the Spell Checker being integral with N'pad ++

It seems you use old version of Notepad++ or ConvertExt.dll (I mean
\Plugins\ConvertExt.dll in the Notepad++ folder). The feature is already
disabled
by default in new ConvertExt.dll which is included in Notepad++ 4.0.1 and
higher.
If you don't want to update Notepad++, you can disable this feature:
(Notepad++ main menu) -> Plugins -> ConvertExt... -> Options -> Brackets
