Any idea how to fix appreciated.

Hello Jens,
thanks for the new plug-in -- but, may I ask you what is the purpose of this
.dll please?
The button works fine and gives a new 'search results' pane resp. tab on that
new pane, ok, but it won't display none results of my searches I did either
with 'search' and its corresponding dialog or 'replace' and its corresponding
dialog.
I see whilest search dialog the lower pane inside that said dialogs, which gives
search results of all open files I searched for, but those won't display on
the new 'search results' pane given from NppSearchInFiles.dll (version 0.8).
How to use new .dll in a proper way ? TIA
BTW all thumbs up for your good work (same goes for Don Ho as well), thank you
both again.
:)

I don't know what this is. Look at your stylers.xml file in either
%APPDATA%\Notepad++ or in the Notepad++ install directory. Bold styles are
indicated by fontStyle="1", while normal styles show fontStyle="0". This file
is normally controlled by the Styler Configurator dialog. If you directly change
this file, I highly recommend making a backup first.
I don't think New Courier or any specific font has a problem. Look at the
generic
<GlobalStyles> section at the bottom. Most of the defaults should be empty
or fontStyle="0". It may be that on your box the "no style specified" default
is bold, although I wouldn't think so.
Maybe there's a problem with Win2k. --Joel

The advanced search (control+R) allows you to insert a tab by pressing
control+I.
I haven't used it, so I'm not sure whether it's allowed in regex mode, or
whether
it works in both search expressions and replace expressions.

If you do so, please cut trailing tabs as well.
An option (has not to be default) to do this automatically before saving would
be a great help, definitely. I just came from TextPad and this missing option
drives me crazy.
Thanks

Not sure what the hex editor has to do with it. Are you suggesting a plugin
to solve this problem? I suppose it would work if it included its own regex
code, rather that using the built-in one.
I'm surprised that noone has tried it already - the tips in my FAQ will get
you around most of these problems, but who can remember what works? I wrote
the FAQ, but I still find myself having to refer to it whenever I have to do
something like that.
There's obviously a demand for it - the question comes up every few days here.
