Dear
Forgot to said that I'm using windows xp sp2 32bit. And I had tried to use the
compatible mode to open it and got fail, too.
I not sure any relative with it happen after I just installed the new "Windows
Genuine Advantage" from windowupdate.
Anyone can help?

When I edit versioned files with Notepad++, TortoiseSVN does not recognize they
were modified, I must use 'touch'. Any option to prevent this ?

I don't see this on my 4.0.2 installation. There may be a problem with the
original plugins, so if you had an earlier version that you installed over,
you might try getting the replacement plugins for the ones you are using.

I believe you can fix this by removing the plugin dlls, or getting the updated
plugins from https://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins and replacing the
old with Explorer 1.2, Function List 1.2, and Hex Editor 0.7. --Joel

dropdown menu for Default Language on the New Document tab of the Preferences

I believe there was a problem with the initial release of a couple of the
plugins
with respect to the new docking support in Notepad++. In any case, try
replacing
some of your plugins with later versions from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins to see if that fixes your problem.
With Explorer 1.2, Hex Editor 0.7 and Function List 1.2, I can alt-tab between
Firefox and Notepad++ with proper focus handling. --Joel

That must be tortoise's fault.
Whatever editor I use, I had to refresh file explorer before tortoise updates
the file icon. Sometimes tortoise won't even show changes even when I have
changed
a file a few levels deep until I have done refresh.
It should be brought up with Tortoise forum.

Thanks Joel - but unfortunately this does not work. Is it possible to change
the shipped xml files to incorporate the user defined items? The only problem
with this is that it would need to be re-done with every nre release I suppose!
