I am having a problem with Ctrl-Z with Notepad++.
It works once then never works again. I can get it to work if I remap it, but
then it quits again and I have to remap it.
Is there anything that anyone can think of as to why this is happening? I need
my shortcuts and the Ctrl-Z not working is starting to get frustrating.
I am using version 4.1.2
Thanks

Don, it's not mentioned in http://notepad-plus.wiki.sourceforge.net/FAQ yet.
The user should see http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/cmdLine-HOWTO.php .

Did you try cmake to build Makefile for MinGW?

Thanks Joel, Don
I've tired compile by Visual C++ express edition with SDK to use makefile in
/scintillia/win32/. It didn't show error but npp.exe didn't come out.
As MinGW, I used makefile in /PowerEditor/gcc/. But error came out that I posted
above.
I tried MinGW Version 3.0 and 5.1.3 both though, same result.

comment
*smile*
--> thar notepad++ becomes the greatest editor ever :-)

Hi Fans of notepad++,
I found the black theme for notepad++, but there is no syntax-highlighting
anymore
...
Is it possible to create a black background with syntax-highlighting or to
invert
the whole theme?
My tries did only change the part of the editor-window to black, where no
caracters
were :-)
Greetings,
/th.

Thanks for the reply Joel,
I'm not sure what npp is doing internally, but it recognises any \foo as a
command
and gets braces right, but % is displayed as a symbol and doesn't seem to make
the line into a comment. I added the line...
<WordsStyle name="COMMENT LINE" styleID="6" fgColor="008000"
bgColor="FFFFFF"
fontName="" fontStyle="0" fontSize="" />
...to stylers.xml with no joy. I'm not sure how styleID works, I just made it
the next number within the "tex" element. Has anyone else had a similar problem
(even with another language)?
Cheers,
Ken.

If you mean autoindent for selected code select "TextFX->TextFX Edit->Reindent
C++ code".
Best Regards
Jens

Hi,
I have Minimize to systray set in the preferences, but i want Notepad++ to start
minimized to systray.
What i've tried:
Create a shortcut and set run to minimized: starts Notepad++ minimized to
taskbar,
not systray.
Create a batch file with start /min notepad++: starts Notepad++ in the
background,
but not visible in both taskbar and systray.
Anyone knows a way to start it minimized to systray right away?

Hello, I use npp every day, I like this editor! Great Job!
But it's will be nice to have "Global HOT KEY" to show\hide npp window
(and, if it possible, bind own "hot keys" for each instace of npp)
Thank you.
