The problem with the filezilla approach is that the file change detection does
not happen until you exit the editor, so you can't just save the file.

Hi!
I would like to be able to run several find and replace querries all in one
shot.
Basically I'd like to be able to create some kind of script that would do
something
like this :
First I open up the files I want to search and replace in. So I open up 100
php files for example.
Then I'd simply like to reproduce the regular 'find and replace' with the 'find
and replace in all opened files' function. And I want to be able to make it
run several querries without having to retype them every time.
What's the best way to go about doing this? Anyone know?

Don, I have emailed the project files to you, although all that really needs
to be done is to take the source above and compile it.
I haven't made the change suggested above, as the compile will fail. I need
a type declaration for PSCNotification, and don't have the NPP sources to hand
(I'm in Bangladesh right now working for a client. The sources are in the UK
and I have a slow internet connection here).
If you can help, I'll look at it.

...but it's driving me crazy: I just switched to n++ (great piece of software!)
and I managed to configure it more or less as I want. Still, I can't find an
option to let the text scroll upwards past the end of a text file.
To be more precise, I'd like to be able to "raise" the last line upwards without
injecting new returns. Right now the last line of the file stays stuck at the
very bottom of the window (unless you put some new lines to pull it up, of
course).
I find that most annoying: am I missing an option?
If not, count this as a feature request :)

TextPad for example shows (with a similar font size) 50 lines. Appears to be
maybe 3 pixels of space between them. Even with all font sizes set to the same,
N++ is nearly double spaced. Booooooo whistle whistle boooooo

By the way, I've tried using Windows' (XP) built in search and it doesn't seem
to work. It's probably trying to be too clever, or only works with word docs
or something...

This plugin does account for character data type such as char ch = '{'; it
should

Hi,
this is a request for a future version of N++ (if you think it would be useful
and can figure out how to do it!)
Let me see if I can explain this succintly:
* Add a new entry in the File menu to "Open files that contain..."
* This then opens a dialog box where you choose a folder, can tick to 'include
subdirectories' (in v2) and can enter some text (or even a regex... but perhaps
that should wait until v3? ;-) )
* You enter some text like 'foobar' and click 'OK'
* N++ then searches the given directory/tree and opens all files that it finds
that contain the given text.
I would find this very useful, for example, when working with multiple php
files.
If I want to find all files that contain a reference to a given include file,
or a certain variable name, I could then use this functionality and have them
all open in the editor so I can deal with them.
