Hello,
I think its a good ideea to change the keybord shortcuts for To Lower/Upper
case, to a much more easy to remember shortcuts like Ctrl+L /Ctrl + U.
It makes more sense for the shortcut of To Lower to be Ctrl+L, then Ctrl+U.

Hello,
I use CTRL+TAB a lot but it looks not to function in Notepad++ as in FireFox
or other programs do.
When I press CTRL+TAB it goes to the next tabblad but when I press than again
CTLR+TAB it goes back to the first tabblad.
To simply fie it I'll give an example;
I have tabblad 1, 2 and 3. I start tabbing (CTLR+TAB) in Tabblad 1 to Tabblad
2 than I press CTLR+TAB again and than I go back to Tabblad 1 in stead of going
to Tabblad 3.
Cheers
Jordi

I would also like the ability to _(re)name_ these temporary files, other than
"new 1" etc.

Hi,
Is there a possibility with NotePad++ to selectively say you want to insert
spaces when pressing the TAB key, depending on the file extension?
Currently, I only see one general setting for this: all file extensions are
handled equally.
However, when for instance editing makefiles, you don't want spaces inserted
when pressing the TAB key. For this kind of files, a "real" tab insertion is
necessary.
Best rgds,
--Geert

Unfortunately, the following two bugs still remain in the new version:
1) In order to enter text in non-ASCII characters in UTF-8 without BOM, another
Unicode encoding must be chosen first, then changed to UTF-8 without BOM.
2) RTL and LTR texts can't be selected properly in LTR and RTL paragraph
directions
respectively.

Hello!
I really dont like it, that NPP on startup opens all files, which were opened
at the end of the last session.
I search for this option in every tab of settings-dialog ... but could find
it. Could anyone give me a tip?
Best regards,
Jan

Does this TCL have some portable form? I mean, can it be distributed as an
executable
file (interpretter) with some needed libraries (dll-files) or as stand-alone
library (dll-file)? Or, in other words, does it have an command-line interface
or can its functions be called directly from its dynamic-link library?
If it has command-line interface, its functions can be called from command-line
in such way:
tcl.exe "<functions>"
If it has dll-interface, its functions can be called within another application
in such way (approximately):
HANDLE hTCL = LoadLibrary( ... );
FARPROC funcTCLExecute = GetProcAddress(hTCL, ...);
...
char* szTCLfunction = "<some TCL function>";
funcTCLExecute(szTCLfunction);
...
FreeLibrary(hTCL);
If something described above is possible, give me direct links to portable
version
of TCL. I don't want to deal with interpretters/languages which are: 1)
gigantic;
2) register a lot of its stuff in the OS; 3) works through OLE or something
similar.

Is there away to move the Language menu to the far right, just before the Help
menu? An annoyance of the Language menu is that it is next to the Settings
menu and when you move over the menus the Language pops up and covers the
Settings
which I tweak a lot. It is a minor annoyance but it is definitely something
I would like to do is be able to move it to some other location.
Thanks
